Welcome to Poplar Creek Church
Below you will find links that allow you to participate in Sunday morning worship remotely. Each Sunday morning at 10:30 AM we will stream the Sunday service live. Below, we also have Going Deeper questions for adults to help with your learning and engagement of the sermon.
Go On to Maturity | 10.8.23
Hebrews 5:11-6:20
1. What are some non-faith areas in life you've had a desire to mature in, but have struggled to put forth the necessary energy? Why do you think you've had trouble making progress?
2. What are some areas of Christianity where you'd like to mature? What has slowed your growth on these topics? What actions would be needed to begin growing in those areas?
3. When did you first come to understand or believe in the sufficiency of Christ? What are some messages or some beliefs that suggest you need to add your own efforts to the work of Christ?
4. What are some of the ways studying scripture has helped you to grow? What are some of the challenges you face when trying to study scripture and learn more about Christian beliefs? What can the church do to help you regularly pursue and develop your understanding?
5. Who are some people in your life that may be rejecting the gospel message they once experienced? How can we pray for those people and what actions can we take to be an example that belief in Jesus' work is sufficient for life and life after death?
