The book of Acts portrays the result of Jesus' life and ministry in the actions of His followers and their new community, the church. Filled with promised Holy Spirit of God, this community began to represent Jesus' kingship and kingdom to the world. Living by Kingdom Values based on their intimate knowledge of Christ, the church was able to live out a love and unity unheard of in the wider world.
Although the values held by the early church manifest differently according to specific times and cultures, their general applications are not bound by history or geography. The following vision and values attempt to summarize Kingdom priorities that will always yield new life and blessing to people who purpose to live in and through them.
Our values are central and essential qualities of our existence. They embody who we are - serving to communicate our unique DNA and represent powerful convictions that permeate everything we do as a church.

We seek to live Christ-centered lives:
Jesus Christ and His Gospel are the foundation of all we do.
How is my life growing toward Christ-likeness?
We Submit to the authority of Scripture:
God has spoken to us through the Bible and we recognize it as the final authority for our lives.
How are my priorities consistent with Scripture?
We pursue Intimacy with God as he pursues Intimacy with us:
God desires an intimate relationship with each of us.
How is my relationship with God growing?
We are deeply communal:
Accountability, belonging, care, and spiritual growth happen best with relationally connected believers.
Am I in a community group?
We are passionately relational:
God's message of forgiveness through Christ is most effectively conveyed within the context of personal relationships.
In whom am I investing?
We are about the “Big C” Church:
The local church is the hope of the world and God's Plan A. There is no Plan B.
In what ways am I pursuing unity among believers?
We will live with radical, irrational generosity:
We truly believe it is far better to give than to receive.
How am I living with open hands?
We are spiritual contributors not spiritual consumers:
The church does not exist primarily for us. We, as believers, are the church and we exist for the glory of God and service to the world.
In what ways am I contributing?
We pursue humble authenticity:
We seek to walk the talk pursuing love and gracious honesty in all we do.
How do my words line up with my lifestyle?
We are a people of prayerful dependence:
Apart from God we can do nothing. We seek to better know the Father's heart through intentional and consistent times of committed prayer.
Have I talked with God today?
We seek a lifestyle of worship:
Worship is more than simply music or a gathering—it is a way of life.
How is my life one that is marked by worship?
We are door-darkeners:
Instead of solely expecting others to “come and see” we pledge to be present and active in our communities—living out the “Great Commission” and “Great Commandment” wherever we are.
How can I be more fully present in my spheres of influence?
We are intentional about play and rest:
Action must be accompanied by reflection, and reflection by action. We are committed to playing and resting as a community and as individuals.
