Worship
- Entering the Throne Room of God

Poplar Creek takes worship seriously and our worship gatherings are dedicated to the principle that we come to offer ourselves to God. Our worship is contemporary, creative and Christ centered.

Worship Gatherings

Sunday 11:00 AM - CREEKSIDE

We call our late morning worship gathering, Creekside. It is contemporary worship with Bible teaching from Pastor Brian, weekly communion, drama, musical features and video elements, etc. Full nursery, children ’s programming and Matchbox (teen worship) are offered during Creekside,

Sunday 9:30 AM - WATER'S EDGE

Water’s Edge is the earlier of our two Sunday morning worship gatherings. It is like Creekside, but “streamlined” – a little lighter in elements to keep
to the one hour time frame . The music style is contemporary, communion is weekly, and other regular worship elements are present in this service. Full nursery and children’s programming (but no Matchbox) are offered during Water’s Edge.

Saturday 5:00 PM - RIVER'S BEND

Our Saturday evening worship gathering is called River’s Bend. The music is contemporary, communion is monthly and other worship elements are added as appropriate. Teaching is the same as our Sunday morning Creekside. Full nursery and children’s programming (but no Matchbox) are offered during this worship gathering.

Saturday 6:00 - 6:30 PM
THE BRIDGE COFFEEHOUSE

The Bridge Coffeehouse is a great opportunity for engaging conversation and a variety of delectables after the 5:00 worship gathering. We’ve got coffee, teas, muffins and other food offerings. Grab a cup of coffee and a treat, then take some time for trans-generational conversation, friendships and fellowship.

Praise/Worship Teams

Our Praise and Worship time is lead by several talented teams. Each team has a unique style and presentation which gives a slightly different flavor from gathering to gathering.

Make-Believers Drama

Drama is a big part of our church culture and our drama team regularly shares sketches and other dramatic works to enhance our worship.

"At Poplar Creek Church, we consider “worship” to be a way of life.

Every element on this Full Spectrum wheel can be an act of worship-- being an attending member of a church, generously sharing our gifts, reaching out and modeling Christianity to everyone we interact with on a daily basis, sharing our lives as we grow closer to the Lord in a small study group, serving one another and the community in ministries, lifting up others in prayer, and, of course, praising our gracious and loving Lord with our voices, our instruments, and through other creative arts. Our lives=Worship."
