Attend a Sunday ServiceShowing up on a Sunday and listening to practical teaching is an essential element to a growing relationship with Jesus. This is the best first step to get connected to the community at Glen Ellyn Bible Church. Making this a regular part of your life will help you grow in community and learn about who God is, His intent for the world, and the role you play in that story.
Coffee with a PastorWhen you're first looking at a church, you probably have lots of questions about the how and why of the things you're seeing and experiencing. We've found it helpful to take time to meet with guests, one on one, to hear what's most important to them and help answer the questions they may be asking about the church and how to get connected. If you'd like to sit down and talk, Grant Armstrong, the Growth and Groups Pastor, would love to buy you a cup of coffee and get to know you a little better. Please email him at garmstrong@gebible.org.
Attend a Quarterly Connecting EventYou are invited to join a Quarterly Connecting Event. Each quarter we have a connecting event to help you meet and get to know others here at GEBC while enjoying a shared meal and experience together. Winter is a social night of food and fun, Spring and Fall are connecting lunches immediately following the Church service, and Summer is our Summer Nights in July which are shared meals, shared stories, and shared discussions. Children are welcome at all events and have special programming at the Winter and Summer Nights. If you’d like to take your next step at GEBC and experience church with growing relationships CLICK HERE to learn more.
Join a Small GroupWe are not meant to walk life alone, faith comes most alive in intentional community. This requires us to take a next step, moving beyond showing up and listening on Sundays. Small Groups are a place to be known and to know others, together, growing as disciples of Jesus. Consider taking this necessary step in your own growth, by signing up to join a small group.
