The Ripples small group has teamed up with DuPage PADS in an effort to provide safe and hospitable shelter, nourishing meals and fellowship to the under resourced of our community. 1st Wednesday of each month - September thru May.

Meal Preparation: 20 people are needed to purchase and/or prepare food to feed 35-40 overnight guests and deliver to Corpus Christi Church by 6:30pm on Wednesday. A food coordinator will contact you 5-7 days in advance with menu items from which to choose.

Set-Up/Food Servers/Hosts: 6-8 people are needed to set up the room at Corpus Christi Church for dinner and overnight shelter guests. Also, serve dinner, socialize with guests, and prepare 30-40 sack lunches for the next day. 6-9pm.

Overnight Monitors: We need 2 or 3 people on site throughout the night to provide security – divided into two shifts: 10pm-2am and 2am-6am. Both male and female monitors are required by PADS.

Morning Food Servers & Clean up: 6-8 people are needed to prepare and serve a simple breakfast, distribute sack lunches, and clean up kitchen and shelter area. 5am-7:30am.

Laundry: 1-2 people are needed to pick up the bedding/linens at Corpus Christi Church by 7am and return them to the church before the next Wednesday.
