FACILITIESPoplar Creek has been blessed with 5 building, 9 acres of property, 1 small pond, 2 fountains and plenty of garden space.
If you have a love of growing vegetables, flowers, grass, trees or fish, we have a place for you be a part of it. During the summer months, we rotate weekends to keep the lawn looking good by using a variety of riding mowers. If you don’t mind noisy equipment or would like time to listen to a podcast or 2, maybe coming out some Saturday morning is something you’d like. Everyone who can drive a riding mower is welcome and training is included for free. The Giving Garden also has teams to plant, weed, cultivate as well as some who are more interested in the flowers we have growing. Every year we can grow up to 1000 pounds of vegetables. Many of these are given to local food pantries as well as shared with the congregation. Keeping the church clean is another task you can be a part of. We have someone who manages a schedule so no one is overwhelmed and the results are fantastic.
